Hi, I'm renting a car in October and heard that it's a good possibility I'll get a 2007. Anyone else think that's a possibility ? Also I read that Avis rents GM but I saw some talk of Dodge/Chrysler vehicles being rented. I'm renting an intermediate car and hope to get something I like, not a dumb mini van or anything lol. Thanks for any suggestions, comments anyone can offer. This is my first time renting with Avis, usually go with Enterprise but I really, really need a change. Thanks again.

All rental car companies now carry a full line of cars...you can request some specialty cars if you are willing to pay the extra bucks. You will not get a minivan unless that is what you are requesting. What kind of car would you like to rent?

At the time your renting ask what's available in intermediate cars and take your pick from what they have.
