So I bought a 2000 porsche 911 with blue exterior, tan interior, but once i go to my school(friday), entered the student parking lot, parked, got out and took my stuff out and the day went on then school finished and it was going to the parking lot and i saw another high school student trying to steal my porsche. So i looked at him and he opened to door somehow and now he was in and was going to jack it so i ran to my porsche grabbed him out and started kicking the fu*k out of him, i was because i am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, i just kept punching and kicking kicking his fu*k*n a*s, while i was doing that i keep cursing at him for trying to jack my porsche. i swear he was ****** bleeding like crazy, also i grabbed his head and kept hitting it at the roof of the porsche. sh*t he was bleeding i had blood on me really! but then he tried to run so i let him go. he was from myschool because the jacket was the H.S. jacket.
My Question is what devices can i put on my porsche to protect it

It's not engine noise or anything, it sound likes it's the top maybe? the chassis or alignment (sorry I'm a girl I'm not sure what I'm saying) I notice it if I am slowing down to under 30 or 20 mph.

It's not VERY noisy, but is it normal?
It's a 2002 but it seems wobbly and rattling like an older car despite my dealer saying it has been inspected and is perfect. Or am I over reacting? Thank you!

Can you put a speeding sensor in a 1988 porsche 911 coupe so when you are speeding it will warn you.

like lets say you are going 65 and you sett it at 60 then the sensor will satr beaping or flash a light to warn you thet you are going over the speed written.

also a fun question is there a sensor that will like record the speed with in the last like 2 minute time period before you stop.

Can you open up the door and actually just get a place or do it yur self and weld or bolt a aluminum side impact beam or bar into the doors. i am serious, i actually love the design of this year of the 911 but i would be scared to drive this and be worried that if i were hit i would get hurt very badly. i would probly do this to the doors because of this year the doors are very weak and if a car or truck comes by and hits my side then the car will just collaps in. i would also but a roll cage into the porsche too. if i can't do this to the doors. also can you and a flat bar of steel right before the foot well to theres lots of protect in a frontal accident and can i also add a steel flat bar but smaller between the engine and the backs of the rear sets. also this is just a fun question of this year of this porsche would yo.u rather have a coupe, cabriolet, or targa

I was surprised when I just test drove a tiptronic boxster & I expected to sort of be blown away in the start up (from stop) you know, (I had just driven a bmw 330 last week & it was so peppy )
and it was kind of very even and not exciting at all!

What do you think of the automatic boxsters? Isn't it a little sacrilige? My sister will be driving this car when I'm out of town & she insists she wants automatic, but I have my reservations.

Are they harder or more expensive to maintain? Are they more or less reliable than the manual?
\
thank you & hope you are having a nice wkend.

I am test driving boxsters and I thought I wanted a manual transmission but I tested the tiptronic just to compare it.

I noticed the automatic was a lot less noisy; is this true in general or just for the one I was driving?

Also, is the engine placed in the same area in the tiptronic, it felt like it was in the front or under drivers seat (not further back like in the manual).

Thank you

I am either going to buy this years model or maybe a used 2003. How long do you think boxsters last, i.e., will they go to 150 or 200,000 miles (w/o a huge overhaul or being rebuilt or something)
?
Does anyone have a boxster this old & how's it doing?
are they generally pretty reliable?
thank you

I am thinking of buying a porsche boxster, but I couldn't believe how loud the engine was.
I know that's part of the "sporty" feel & due to the placement of the engine, but it really is rather annoying. Do you get used to it?
Also, does it get worse over time (like in 10yrs is everyone going to turn & look at me going down the street?? that would be embarrassing.) thank you.

Considering buying a 1995-1998 Porsche 911 993 carrera cabriolet(still have not desided if I want to get plain 993, a S, a 4, a 4S) Want Red interior, silver exterior, automatic transmission, Black cabriolet top, and i would install a 4 point bolt rollcage . My Question is would this car be atractive, SAFE, beautiful, realible, good gas comsuption like anything between 15-30 mpg to me is good, low insurance, low theft( yes i would use a encoded key, the disable steering thing, warning stickers that the car is protected), would the car last for atleast 4 years with only driving 4 miles a day and 20 miles on the weekends also parked in a garge with a protection covering, waxed every 6 months, cleaned every week, detailed every 2 months, Fuilds replaced when recommended by Porsche, always taken to services and tune ups, brake replace every 4-6months, routers every year, alignment every year. Also i would only use the 91 octane gas.
