Can't say that I'm familiar with a Porsche Targa 4. There is a Porsche Carerra 4, which is an all-wheel drive version of the 911. It is a terrific car and first went on sale in 1989. It used Porsche's famous air-cooled engine for the first few years, then the company went water-cooled (in 1996, I think). The 911 Carerra 4 is an extremely high performance sports car that will hold its own with nearly any other car on the street... and it has all-wheel drive.

I've owned a couple of Porsches (and still own one) but have always lusted after a Carrera 4.
