I bought it for my husband to work on it as a hobby, it still needs some work but he has given up due to lack of time etc, how will I know how much to sell for, where do I advertise it?

Find porsche enthusiasts/owners club websites. They usually have a classifieds listing page where you can list an add, sometimes for free. These types of websites usually attract people who would want a car such as yours.

Well, if you are selling your porch be sure to take down the swing and remove the chairs before loading. If it is a Porsche sell it on ebay. You won't have to worry about pricing it as the bids will dictate the final price and it will be fair.

Well it is a sweet ride you got up for grabs there, but on how much to sell it, that depends on the year , the condition its in and if "Mot" stands for motor then you have to knock some $$ off, because its an expensive part (lol) the new buyer might have difficulty getting one...

On ebay, of course. You'll find LOTS of Porsches for sale there, including some in the condition of the one you bought for your husband. Spend days to weeks looking at the new listings (You can arrange 'agents' to find them for you and email you with pictures, etc.), and you'll come to understand about what your Porsche is worth. Most non-running machines command a less than princely sum.

Easy
Put an ad in the paper, Practical classics magazine, Ebay etc
Read somthing like:
For sale, Porche (Whatever), Unfinished project, no tax or mot
Spares or repair, viewing reccomended. £price Call 000000000 for more details

The more places you advertise the greater the interest.

Put an advert in the newspaper saying for sale, Porche for sale no MOT. Easy as that.

Depending on how old the porsche is, I would take it to my local porsche dealership and ask them if they would like to buy it.

They will probably not sell it on their forecourt but rest assured they will have someone look at it and give you a price.

It is then up to you what you do with that price but at least you will know what it was worth.

Autotrader is a good classified magazine that is likely to have similar cars to compare price to. Then list it in there for a competitive price.

Pick up the magazine(at any convenience store). It's easier to look at than the website.
