I would say thats pretty accurate unless you do it yourself. Porsche charges a lot for labor, the parts are never too expensive, but the labor almost kills you. Porsche charges porsche prices. You may find another mechanic that can do the work cheaper, but since it is a porsche, you may have a hard time finding someone willing to work on it. I have some receipts from the previous owner on my porsche, and regular maintenance usually cost around 1300. I do it all myself for usually around 400 give or take depending on what all needs done.

That could be accurate. Did they give you a list of what they're doing? At 60,000 miles you can expect a brake job, oil and filter change, air filter change, fuel filter change, tire rotation, possibly a radiator flush and fill, perhaps a fuel injection system cleaning, and maybe even a tune-up where they replace the spark plugs, spark plug wires, and the PCV valve. Doesn't your owners manual for the car list the recommended servicing at 60,000 miles? Most owners manuals for American-made cars give you the schedule all the way up to 100,000 miles...
