I have a 1995 Buick LeSabre, 3.8 V6 with a 4T60E Automatic Trans. Having problems with it getting stuck in 2nd gear, Aamco says I need to have it rebuilt, their estimate ranges from $1400.00-$2400.00. $1400.00 for the rebuild kit & labor! Price goes up if there is internal damage (which they said there probaly was). Am I getting scammed??

I want to install this on a 2007 Sierra "Classic." I will always have difficulty getting parts/accessories for this truck unless I tell everybody it's a 2006 or they think you have the new 2007 truck. Wouldn't the wiring for 07 Classic be the same as 06? 05?

I own a 96 Oldsmobile Bravada all wheel drive. Would it hurt anything on the transfer cases to drive without the front drive shaft?

Does anyone out there have a 2006 or 2007 Sierra 2500 HD 2WD w/ the 8.1L V8 and Allison Transmission? If so, what kind of gas mileage are you getting? I know the Allison transmission went from a 5 speed in 2006 to a 6 speed in 2007. Did it make a difference in fuel economy? I don't want the Duramax because it is such an expensive option. It puts my new truck budget over it's limit, but I can slip just under budget w/ the 8.1L V8. Educated opinions will be appreciated. Thx.

i can get a 93 seville for $1250. when its at idle, the RPM's are around 1100. when i revved it, it stummbled bad... i couldnt test drive it because i am under age. what could be wrong with it? it has a 4.2(?) northstar. could it just be spark plugs, or is it a seville problem...muchos gracias...lol

i have a 98 GMC Jimmy replaced a fuel pump ran fine for 4 days, was driving down the freeway went to accellerate, it stalled now it wont start, there is a sensor on the side of the intake that is making a buzzing noise. Ican hear the fuel pump kick in but there is no pressure at the fuel rail, can anyone help me?? signed MOM

i bought new tires to solve the problem, but it continues. when going faster than 20 mph, car makes humming noise from front of car. i checked everything to see if something was caught but nothing, i also checked brakes, still nothing. are there any grease points i need to grease? i have no other idea what it could be? please help!!

I have a 1992 GMC sierra. today is was making weird stranger noises.......Like a loud rattling sound from the rear end....well then on my way home it wouldn't hardly pick up and when I got home the big round thingy in the middle of the tires under the truck the connect both tires was oily and smoking....what does that mean and how much should it cost to fix? ihaveno current atthe 12v constant wire at the ignition switch, i ran a jumper wire from the battery to the 12v constant wire. the starter then turns the engine but still no start. i then checked for current at the plugs, no current, what could my problem be?

When I turn on my air conditioning it only works if i turn it on high when I first start it up.. then if I turn it down it will stop blowing out any air and the anti lock brake light and brake light flash on my dashboard. And the same thing happens with the heat and defroster.
