I turn the car on and it will sound fine for about 30 seconds, Then it will just die. I found a Vacuum hose that came off but I put it back on and it still does the same thing.

Do you have any experience with the General Motors ecotec engines?

I'd like to replace the gas hog V8 I have with something more ecomomical. The ecotec 2.4 sure seems like a a good engine. Double overhead cam, 4 valves per cylinger, fuel injection, all aluminum, with a 5 speed automatic tranny.

My main concern is, how difficult would it be to get the computer and all the sensors working properly?

Im looking for a side door molding and a centerpiece for my wheel on a 91 buick regal.The car is a two door and the molding is black with a red pinstripe through it.It is the drivers side door.I also need a centerpiece for the wheel.Its a factory buick aluminum wheel.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was just wondering how I could get my car to be faster without sacrificing MPG. I was looking on ebay and saw these chips that they say increase MPG and add horsepower. They run about 25 bucks or less and they say they just plug right in to your car. They say they are safe. Do they do what they claim to do or can they damage my car. I know it's not going to be a race car but I just want to unlock my engines potential (GM 3800 SERIES II V6 ). Is there anybody who has experience with the performance chips they sell on ebay? Or anybody who can tell me an inexpensive and safe way to get more performance out of my car? Or someone who can explain the pros and cons of these chips.

The alternator light is on and gage shows about 8 volts. engine Power is very low- getting codes 26 and 36 my book , a haynes, does not even show a 36.

I have a 2001 Pontiac Montana. Over the last few months my traction control has been steadily going off (for nothing!) The weather is beautiful, nothing on the road and zzzzz off it goes! What the heck is wrong with my traction control? I turn it off everytime i take off with the van but it still goes off! Does anyone have any hints or suggestions as to what it may be? Also, is it possible to just disengage the traction control and drive my van without the traction control? If you need more info, please ask away...I appreciate any help I can get on this one! ahhhhh! ;-)
