I have an 88 GMC 4x2 rusted body new engine 4.3 V6. I was given a great 86 GMC 4x2 with a blown 305ci. I was told that If I change the intake to a carb intake then I will be okay.. I hope that this is true. They say if I change the 86 to throttle body that I will have a great amount of work to do.this Does anyone have any ideas or information or links for me to check to do this job. I miss my truck. yes I am a redneck. At least my kids say I am LOL

My fiance just bought a new 2007 GMC Sierra Crew Cab and for Xmas he asked for certain accessories for his truck. One of them was splashguards. But, when I went to Cabela's it says that I must choose between "with flares" and "without flares". What does this mean? Thank you!

my car will sometimes do this:
when i push on the gas, the engine wont rev up that much, only about 3000 rpm (guessing) and get me about 21 mph before vibrating the car then jolting and revving the rpms and speed up dramattically.. is it transmission (tranny dipstick has bubbles all over it but reads full) or clogged fuel injectors? or what?
