you could but it would be alot of trouble, gm tranys are controlled by the pcm (powertrain comtrol module) the allison is controlled by a tcm(transmission control module) there would be alot of wiring to remove and alot more to add, and a lot of programming required. better off trading up.

trade up to one,the costs will be huge,you need computer control,wiring ,drive line changes,just remove your rad cap and drive the new truck under it
