My fiance just bought a new 2007 GMC Sierra Crew Cab and for Xmas he asked for certain accessories for his truck. One of them was splashguards. But, when I went to Cabela's it says that I must choose between "with flares" and "without flares". What does this mean? Thank you!

i own a repair shop, and flares are the extensions on the fenders that make them stick out a little, and it will make a difference in the splash guards on it ,so you need to know if the one he ordered has them or not, there like an extra piece of trim ,and make the vehicle look good,,i hope this help,s.

You might get more responses if you titled your questions "Pick-up lingo help" instead of refering to it as a "truck". A truck indicates a Peterbilt, a Freightliner, ect. Where as Dogdge, GMC, Chevy, ect. build pick-ups. I don't know much about pick-ups because I don't drive one, sorry I couldn't help you with your question.
