i can get a 93 seville for $1250. when its at idle, the RPM's are around 1100. when i revved it, it stummbled bad... i couldnt test drive it because i am under age. what could be wrong with it? it has a 4.2(?) northstar. could it just be spark plugs, or is it a seville problem...muchos gracias...lol

I think I would pass on the deal. It can cost you a bundle to get it fixed. I know a woman with a Cadillac, it is constantly in the shop. For that same price you can find something that runs well.

DO NOT buy that car!!!

It should only be btween 600-800 RPM @ idle. North stars are notorious for being money pits.

you'd be better off buying a different car than Cadilac all together.

Sounds like it needs a new O2 sensor and a serious tune up. And I believe it is a Deville. You are probably looking at least $100 to tune it up.

Most likely it is either the A.I.S. sensor or the T.P.S. sensor, or both. Its not serious. But since you can't drive, why would you want the car??
