i bought new tires to solve the problem, but it continues. when going faster than 20 mph, car makes humming noise from front of car. i checked everything to see if something was caught but nothing, i also checked brakes, still nothing. are there any grease points i need to grease? i have no other idea what it could be? please help!!

It coud be the hub/bearing on either front wheel. Try driving on a big open area(parking lot) driving the speed it occurs and gently swerving from left to right.If the noise goes away, then the direction you swerved to is the likely culprit.For example:Swerving to the right the noise goes away. The right bearing would be bad because the vehicle leans to the left thus unloading weight from the right side of the veh.Hope this helps you out.

Its more than likely the front hub brg.It is replaced as a complete assembly. if the hub brgs ck out ok, then you may have a torrington brg in transmission making the noise.

have cv boots and joints checked a rock could have sliced open a boot then all grease comes out then joint fails.
