i was driving yesterday and made a sudden stop , my truck stalled and now will not start. The pump doesn't kick in when i turn the key, however i was told that there may be a reset switch for the pump. if anyone knows if there is one and where to find it, it would be greatly appreciated.

hi everyone i need urgent help we have a GMC sonoma truck and the truck isnt able to pass gas to the gas filter, a neighbor told us it was dirty so we changed it and put a new one, and it wont start, it makes a noise like its going to but it doesnt its not totally dead at all, so we suspect its gas not flowing through

but now the neighbor says we have to find some sort of gas flow button to make the gas flow again normally, because when the filter is dirty GMC trucks just wont run, anyway we dont knwo where this restart button is located can anyone suggest where we should look, we are pretty sure that this is teh problem and around here if we go to a mechanic we will be charged an arm/leg, anyway its a 1999 GMC SONOMA 2 WHEEL DRIVE PICK UP TRUCK,any advice would be appreciated Thanks in advance for your help, :) by the way we looked through the manual and there was nothing there,

I feel like such a goofball, but I cannot find the starter on my Aurora for anything. Please, someone tell me where it is and how to get to it so that I can change it. I bought the replacement starter used so no help there. Also, I have already checked with parts stores.THANK YOU

diagnostics have indicated a problem on this circuit, and ther are four circuits A, B, C, & D. Each Circuit is a Quad Driver Module that each module controls a number of componets such as iginition, fuel pump, etc.

When I say off and on, it is mostly on, but at times goes off on its own and then after a restart comes back on. I have had it tested with the code reader and they can not communicate with the air bag module under the passenger seat and when the light is off, they can, but no error codes. Also, I have noticed moisture on that sides carpet, and there is a forum on the wet carpet on here, do you suppose that the moisture is causing a short circuit? Has any one had this same problem an know for sure if it is because of the wet carpet causing the module to short circuit under the passenger seat? I also was researching a recall on a cracked module casing under passenger seat, allowing moisture in..but GM says it does not apply to my VIN number, I dont buy that. Help! Thanks!

I had the service engine light code tested and they siad it was due to the gas cap, I replaced the gas cap and the light when off on its own, then a week later came back on, so I had it tested again and again was the gas cap. Also, we seem to notice it only happens when I fuel the car up half way...any one have the same problem or know what they did to correct this? Thanks!

Someone, and I don't know who, put more transmission fluid in my car then I needed. Now my car will switch gears, but slowly. I was told by CarX that I needed a whole new transmission, but this man told me that it could just be a transmission sensor. Does he know what he is talking about, and if so how do I explain to my personal mechanic how to fix it?

GMC 20 inch wheels with 275/55SR20 Goodyear Eagle LS-2 tires transfered from 2007 Sierra 1500 Crewcab 4x4 with SLT trailering package with 3.73 rear end, to a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 crewcab 4x4 with Max trailering package that had 17 inch wheels with Bridgestone Dueler A/T on off road P265/70SR17 tires on it. These tires are original factory installed equipment on respective trucks. Are there suspension differiences which would not allow the swap ? Will it change the towing capacity ? Can the on board computer be programed for the wheel swap ? The GMC answer is generic and noncommital.
