If you are sure the bulbs are okay, you will have to check the circuits leading into the socket. Use a 12V test light, these are about $10 and are a great help when diagnosis cars. Either install across the socket and turn the lights on low beam and then high beam and see what you results are. If any system check does not match what is supposed to be going on, test each socket point by itself. Encure the test light is connected to a known good ground by touching the light to a power source before the socket connnections. Then test for power to the low and high beam inputs, both should light when in the proper switch position. If you have power available to both of these terminals, reverse the test light by connecting the clip to a power source and probing for ground. It should also light and be as bright as the others were. Once the source of the problem is found, you just have to trace back to find and repair the problem. There usually were two different grounds for both sides of the headlights so this is an area that you might want to be sure of. The other power circuits are spliced close to the left headlight area. Good luck.
