The Saturn is less because they have has less content than the GMC. They share the same platform and (probably) powertrain, but they are a bit different. Either way, I would highly doubt you can get $2,000 off the Acadia. First of all, there isn't $2,000 to be taken, unless you get the $44,000 fully loaded version. Secondly, I have a few coming in. They take a month to show up and have been selling out within a day or so. My dealership is offering fair deals, but GMC is offering no incentives (except conquest bonus). Your best deal will probably be more with the GMC, but you'll have more vehicle when you're done.

well with the gmc acadia and saturn outlook as you say are sister vehicles what this will break down too is a matter of personal preference, i personally would pick the GMC Acadia, they both have the same warranties, but as with the saturn ion/ chevy cobalt the ion was the test model which had some problems, but hey buyer beware do your research and you'll find the vehicle you want

You're better off with the GMC. GMCs have a better reputation than SATURN for being more reliable. The Acadia may cost you more to begin with, but in the long run, it will be cheaper than the Outlook.

when coming to repairs...Most of the Saturn parts have to come from dealership..and even though its cheaper..live near the dealership..if not..get the GM..parts more available..purchase either one..but remender...purchase an extended warranty..up to 100K before your original warranty expires..

GM products are garbage and depreciate at a high rate. You would be much better off down the road investing in a Toyota or Honda.

All cars are a waste of money--worst investment you can make.
Move somewhere where you can walk or bike to work. Your waistline and wallet will thank you.
