but now the neighbor says we have to find some sort of gas flow button to make the gas flow again normally, because when the filter is dirty GMC trucks just wont run, anyway we dont knwo where this restart button is located can anyone suggest where we should look, we are pretty sure that this is teh problem and around here if we go to a mechanic we will be charged an arm/leg, anyway its a 1999 GMC SONOMA 2 WHEEL DRIVE PICK UP TRUCK,any advice would be appreciated Thanks in advance for your help, :) by the way we looked through the manual and there was nothing there,

There are no fuel re-start switches in any GM cars or trucks. If you are experiencing a no start which is a no fuel pressure problem you will have to diagnose this. First thing is to be SURE there is gas in the tank. Seems simple but the level guages for these trucks were crap. Then test the fuses for the pump fuse blown. If still nothing unusual found, test power and ground to the fuel tank at the connection. This is tricky as the PCM only primes the pump for two seconds but does turn it on when cranking, so having help helps. If all this is good, you will have to remove the tank and pump assembly and inspect for any electrical problems on the module and if nothing found, replace the pump. Good luck.

on condition that that is a marginally common element this time of 12 months I even ought to ask your self even if you wish new plugs and an oil replace. even as that's totally chilly, previous plugs do no longer fireplace nicely. also, even as they are getting soaking wet through gasoline they are even more advantageous apt to no longer function. also, even as a gasoline injected engine is persistently cranked without commencing, gasoline is compelled into the crankcase. upload skinny oil, an overfull crankcase and undesirable plugs at the same time and think ofyou've got were given a no-run difficulty. Are you certain there is not any gasoline attending to the cylinders??? verify your oil, regardless. sturdy success
