I have a 1991 gmc tracker 4 wheel drive automatic. After driving it for a while it will stall. It will take a while befor it will start again, I was told by the machanic that the problem was with the computer. Changed the computer numarouse times but nothing changes it will still stall and it still takes a while befor it turnes on again.I put in a new gas tank, new sending units, new fuel filters but still no change. The fule pump was tested and everything is fine.I think that somthing on it may be shorting out the computers.

Does anyone out there have a similer problem or Does anyone had a similer problem and if possiable Can Someone find the blue prints or diagram or Any Information on the electrical and the fuel line.

Much appreciated!!

I have a 97' GMC Pickup. Well it's a stick, i drive it down the road it seems as if something is "sapping" the power, like i can have my foot to the floor and it kind "jerks", mostly in 1st and 2nd gear. I recently went up to AutoZone and the guy up there told me it was bad. Anyways, i'm wondering how long i can drive around with it like that before i eventually need to replaec it. Thanks

I'd like to purchase a RWD supercharged 3800 GM V6 as a replacement for the 3800 V6 ecotec that is in my 1996 Holden. I have a contact in the US that can organise the purchase and shipping. Is this feasible to do. What problems will there be. I know most US engines of this type are FWD but there are some RWD.

There is no cable in the seath. The lead ball , at the latch end of the cable. Has come off the cable. I have removed the grill but see no way to access and pop the primary release. I've crawled under the car and see no way to pop the primary release from under the car. Now what?

The part is discontinued by GM, and not found in restoration stores, and weatherstripping from junkyards are unuseable due to decay. I cant really use a universal product because it is a convertable.... Where find one! i have looked EVERYWHERE.
It is a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Surpreme Convertable.

Truck tends to run fine for about the first 20 mins of startup, idle or driving. But, after it's been warm (normal operating temp of 190), it tends to drop the oil PSI and then truck hesitates, and it usually cuts off. Then I have a hard time getting it to start back up. Truck has over 320K on the odometer and runs great when the oil PSI is up so I know it has plenty of compression. I believe it's a sending unit or the oil pump/pickup. Could someone give me some kind of idea on what it might be? Love this truck and would hate to let it sit in the yard just because I don't have the cash to rebuild the entire engine. And to anyone who wants to lay down a smart-*** answer, I will NOT sell this truck and buy a new one. Thanks in advance to everyone!

My friend and I are researching possible ways to give this car some speed (not for street racing etc. It would all be legal).

It currently has a 2.8L v6 and everything is stock. If we were to switch out engines what would be the easiest, cheapest/ most efficient way to do so?

[[ I'm not entirely sure of it's 0-60 time. the stock on a 1987 Firebird should be somewhere within 7-10 secs?]]

I'm pretty sure that it is the rear driver side tire doing it. We have had to replace this rim before. When driving and the vibration starts I notice that the driver mirror is a little shaky but not the rear view or passenger mirror (that is why I think it is on the driver side) and it feels like it is coming from the rear.
Upon inspecting said rim I noticed a scratch kinda in the middle running around the bottom part of the inside (where I can see it) - kinda in line with my brakes. Just had the brakes replaced in November so I'm sure if it was there then someone would have mentioned it.
Any ideas?
