Probably about 10-12 mpg.

Not buy a 3 ton brick with a V8. Seriously its not at all aerodynamic and its heavy. Takes a lot of engine to over come the weight and drag so you end up needing a V8.

Usually they average 16-18MPG mixed city/highway.

To improve MPG, don't buy a HUMMER. Buy any SUV other than a HUMMER, even a chevy tahoe gets better gas mileage. Plus your HUMMER is full time 4WD so half your power/torque is always distributed between the front and rear axles, which in turn uses more fuel because the engine has to supply power to all 4 wheels which isn't needed all the time.

The h2 has the poorest fuel mileage of any SUV
it's 6.0 lt engine may only get 16 mpg.
The only way I've improved the miles per gallon, is to put a chip into, it is a PCM that gives you more horse power, more miles per gallon.
However it will void your engine warranty

9-12 MPG....terrible isn't it. Trade it in for anything else. It'd be more economical to get a RAV4 and a trailer. I'm not pitching the RAV4, just came to mind.
