Is Toyota an American Hoax?
Are you an Americans being completely fooled by big bad toyota? Sure they have big bold commercials and yes they maybe good at copying american truck designs (The Tundra is almost a replica of the F-150) but as for me I dont want to get dirty with toyota. Toyota represents the vehicle for modern day hippies. Not that I am against good gas mileage or anything but the American Auto-Makers offer fuel efficient machines as well. Actually ford plans on releasing a truck that gets better gas mileage then a toyota prius in 2008 it is called a hydraulic hybrid. And when it comes to dependabilty I think the American Auto-Makers stack up just as well. What Do You Think Of Toyota? Join against toyota and join this group on myspace called STEAM! New rotors and new pads were installed. If the car rolls slowly and I lightly touch the brake pedal, I get a metal to metal grinding noise from the front wheels. When I apply the brakes at normal speed, there is no noise. The mechanic can't figure it out. The noise appears whether the brakes are hot or cold. There are no marks on the rotors that would indicate any damage. What could be the cause and the solution?

Hi all, I am considering buying an SUV, and I really fell in love with the new looks of Ford Explorer (starting from 2006).
:
-Considering the poor resale value, would it really be a big loss if I keep the car for 3-4 years? The car retails here for around $29000 with fabric seats(ie. basic model), with 60k kilometers (around 38k miles) service and maintenance. Considering alternatives, I see the Toyota Prado VX with better resale value, but it starts (basic) at around $34000 (no free service) for the 6 cylinder 4 litre. 4 cylinder prado is cheaper, little more than explorer, but i would not want to take it (GX). Besides I really liked the interior of explorer. Am i right about the interior? I also think that for resale, if I lose 25% in a year on Explorer and say 18% on prado, the $ amount is not a big difference?? please comment..
-Since I drive long distances, how does its fuel efficiency compare to Mitubishi Pajero 2005(Montero 2005),nissan pathfinder and prado 6 cylinder
