My husband is having to replace the front wheel bearing on our 1998 ford windstar the manual reads that the hub nut needs to be replaced, however we have not recieved this part. Is it ok to reuse the old hub nut or do we need to wait for the new hub nut? Thanks

Changed the alt twice.volt regulator is within alt.Still draining bat. could it be a short or one of them diods or did someone mess with my truck? Someone not me ran it into a ditch while a tow dollie was on it pleaSE HELP. iTS A 4 CYLENDER.

On my 98 Ford Explorer the OD (overdrive) light frequently blinks, even when just idiling at a light. It is engauged but will blink in or out of gauge.

I went to start my car the other day & all the panel lights came on but it wouldnt start, I was using my spare key so I tried again a minute later and still nothing then I tried with my regular key and it started, tried again and it started, a few minutes later I tried and it wouldn't start again. Anyone else have this problem or know what could be causing it?

Same old junk over and over. They should stick to building American Cars in America. Sell Land Rover, Mazda, Volvo and Astin Martin.

Any day now I expect to see Volvos rolling over and catching fire.

Here's my problem we have a 1998 Ford Windstar and the a/c works from the dashboard no problem however the back vents when they are turned on only shoot out heat same for the vents in the cieling. Any one know what causes this and how to fix it?

Haven't been driving it - insured to "sit". Moved it a month ago - all was okay. Driver's side rear. Want to assume it's the parking brake on that wheel. Maybe pounding on the outer drum? Moved to wet climate (Oregon coast) a couple months ago but is an Ohio car so not much different. Suggestions ... or, Answers?

Hello, i own a 1999 f-150 4.6L v8 with 100,000 miles. I use mid grade (89octane) fuel. I do this because my engine seems to rattle on 87octane. Anyways, i have noticed recently that if i quickly push the pedal down, it seems to spudder(i believe that would be the propper term) kind of like it is not getting fuel. I love this truck so much and i want it to be in better running condition. Any suggestions on treatments for the engine? I really need help!! My indicators dont correct and switch off after turning on my ford escort, 95(M) anyone got a diagram of how to fix. Also my screen wash is back to front, rear and front. anyone got a diagram of how to disassemle and put back togehter correctly? Basically, Im looking for a good exploded view of how the steering colunm switchgear go together.
