My indicators dont correct and switch off after turning on my ford escort, 95(M) anyone got a diagram of how to fix. Also my screen wash is back to front, rear and front. anyone got a diagram of how to disassemle and put back togehter correctly? Basically, Im looking for a good exploded view of how the steering colunm switchgear go together.

I had a similar problem on my N (95) escort, indicators wouldn't cancel and main beam light permanently on, had to fit a new stalk unit. Pay no more than £40 new, from a motor factors, they can not be repaired but they are easy to swap.

as far as the indicators there is a small pin that flips the switch back once the steering wheel is straight its either worn or the wheel has been taken off and not centred properly
the washer switch in the steering consol has a wiring plug the wires are in the wrong place
