We have a 92 Taurus wagon, but do not have the key for the back door / window. Does anyone know where I can purchase one? I have already tried Ebay, no luck.

Unfortunately on that model, you only have 2 choices. You can pay a locksmith to decode the cylinder and cut the key from that or you can get a replacement cylinder from a dealership and pay them to install it. And usually, it's a lock set that includes door and glove compartment.
The earlier answers about going by the VIN to get a key code only applies to 1996 and newer models.

Try contacting your local Ford dealer and see if their parts department can cut you a key based on the VIN number of the vehicle. I had to do this when I locked my keys in the trunk of my car. Other than that, go to a salvage yard and get a trunk lock cylinder for the same make/model of your car. They usually sell the keys with them. This is not as cheap as the first suggestion, but is an alternative to junking the car, I guess. Another option is a locksmith may be able to cut a key based on the trunk lock cylinder.
Best of Luck to You!!!

Call Ford, they usually have the keys. But doesn't your key for the side doors open the back door and window because it should. It sounds like you just need that lock on the back door fixed.

try your local ford dealer... usually they can cut the key you need by using part of your Vehicle Identification Number if they have the codes for your cars' year.. I worked at a dealership for 10 yrs... no... not a sales man 8)

Bring the car (or the lock itself if you can remove it) to any Locksmith shop, and they can quickly and easily make you a key for it. No problem!

You will need to have the lock replaced on it. Once the key is gone its gone.
