Toyota is Pure EVIL, I used to think they were "COOL" and have owned an 84 and an 85 Truck, NEVER NEVER NEVER Again will I own a Toyota made product, not even if it is given to me, I'd rather walk. Toyota IS a big American Hoax, They manufacture ALL of their parts overseas, ship them to the US to avoid HIGH Tariffs on a completed vehicle send them to their assembly plants here in the US where 90% or more of the vehicle is made by Japanaese produced machines. They employ a few thousand american employees, last time I saw #'s Toyota employs LESS Americans than what either Ford or GM had to Lay off. AND THEN They claim their vehicles are built in America--MY *** They are built overseas and assembled in America by Robotic Machines, ALSO Built overseas!!! I think that New Tundra would look GOOD with BIGFOOT parked right on top of it!!!

How can anyone answer this question correctly? Everyone thinks that they are right about where money really goes etc.., and I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with that, but we don't know what to believe because we hear so many different things. I'm not going to deny Toyota makes reliable cars. One of my best friends has a Toyota that is still running for 200,000 miles and he barely had to repair it. However, I have a 1989 Ford Thunderbird, and the same is true. It is one of the most reliable cars I've ever owned, and it is lasting just as long as my friend's Toyota with even less repairs than his Toyota. It's really a personal preference. I don't care because the only two modern cars that Ford makes that I like are the Ford GT and the Ford Mustang, and I don't really like any Toyotas.

Hey Keith C. I travel around the country and do repairs on the robotic and other machines that are used in the manufacture of cars. Every manufacturer US or foriegn uses predominately Japanese machines. There are very few machines actually made in the US. If you want quality in robotics, mills, lathes and other machinery, you buy Japanese. And as far as cars go, I buy whichever ones seems to be the best value for the money. Do you ever buy gas at Citgo? If you do, then you are supporting the government of Venezuela. THat's who owns it. Lots of our favorite companies to buy from send profits overseas. I'll bet you've been to Walmart. Virtually everything they sell comes from China.

I don't like Toyota because they pretend to be American or part of Americana. The profits go to JAPAN, period.
No different then GM of Europe or Ford of South America,
those profits come HERE to the U.S. Yes their quality system is world renowned. But I dislike them pretending to be American. The fact that they were let into NASCAR is a crime. It's all part of a scheme to convince the ignorant that what's good for Toyota is good for the U.S. Hogwash.

Despite what Chad the Toyota worker believes, ford and Toyota worked on their hybrid TOGETHER! Ford had technology that Toyota needed and Toyota had some technology Ford needed to put their respective hybrids on the market.

You are saying Toyota is just better at marketing than Ford. That's really funny. American car companies are tops in marketing and bean counting. Toyota and Ford have both earner their standings with the public.

I work for Toyota and offer 85% of the cars and trucks are made in the USA.
Just remember all Hi-bred cars out there have Toyota technology in them, We own the Copyright for the system.
Ford tried to do it without buying the rights and failed.
they broke down and Finlay bought it.

Toyotas are far better than any American car. If you buy American your buying a piece of crap that won't last you long. Fords rarely last even 100000 miles while any toyota will last you much much longer. 2-3 times longer. Any for those of you who say that profits go back to Japan, your wrong. Profits don't go back to Japan you idiots.

what a question to ask the Ford, group. You'll get more positive answers over in the Toyo category.
There a good car , but still a Jap car no matter where they're made
