That's the OBD-II port. That's where you plug in the code reader to read the check engine code when your check engine light is on. It's also where the emissions tester plugs in his/her machine to check for emission-related problems stored on your car's computer.

OBD-II compliance is required in the U.S. from 1996 onwards. You can get your own code reader at Wal-Mart or at a parts store.

thats the wife sensor it will send a signal to her phone when your at the tata bar and your right in the middle of having a good time then you get that ringing feeling go ahead answer it she already knows that your in the dog house as soon as you get home so tell her yes dear im wrong for coming here after work to have a beer with my co workers and yes dear im out the door now on my way home
do you mean that plug or the ob2 plug in ?

That plug in allows a mechanic to connect his OBD-2 computer to your vehicle to aquire codes from your vehicle in the event of a check engine light issue.
