Anyone else have this problem? I wanted to find out first to see if the problem was something loose or if it was something worse that would cost a lot to fix. Any ideas on what could fix it or what it is? Have not been able to open the dash up and check. Just wanted to know if the car was worth putting money into.

I heard that the splines at the drive shaft need to be relubed with a better grease. If so how should I remove and replace the rubber boot? The truck is a 95', manual trans, 4.0L, 4x4, reg cab. Any suggestions?

How would you rate the Ford Bronco? I am looking at buying a Bronco and was wondering how you felt about it. Let me know any pros or cons you have about or any special featrues it has that other SUVs dont. If you have any suggestions as to a better SUV let me know. I am going lift it up and use it for off roading and on road. So how does it rate? Thanks

The van has cold front and rear a/c. But only the front heater blows hot air. I have had the rear heater core changed and the system flushed. What other options are there.

I have a Ford 460 in running condition, and a pair of Schwitzer turbos to go onto it eventually. I also have an Edelbrock performer intake manifold for a 390FE, and matching headers, that might fit this?. I plan to arrange the turbos to feed a 650CFM Holley in blow-thru setup, and run MSD-6AL ignition off the stock distributor's inductive pickup. I will use a high performance electric fuel pump, and a boost-compensating regulator, to ensure consistent fuel delivery.

I plan to lower the compression either with .125" copper head gaskets, or dished forged pistons, either are 30cc changes to get 8:1 compression. I want to run an appropriate amount of boost, but not into the range of gambling with wrecking the engine.

For those experienced with the 460, what are its flaws and vulnerable parts? What parts need to upgrade, which are good enough from factory? I don't plan on boosting more than maybe %15 on horsepower.

This is going in a 4x4 F250 with a C6 Automatic and Dana 60s

My father has always had a pair of schwitzer turbos on the shelf in the garage that he said were charted to match a 454 perfectly. I am buying a Ford 460FE to swap into an F250 in place of the 360 that shelled out. Since it is close enough in displacement to accept the turbos, i figured i would only need to lower the compression and possibly change the camshaft.

What is the easiest/cheapest method to lower the compression? My friend advises that i simply put on a thicker head gasket or two, no sense replacing pistons that have "worn in", at a big cost.

What changes to the camshaft might be necessary? If so, what camshaft specifically should I use? I plan on running no more than 3 PSI of boost, to keep things modest and safe.

I have a Holley Dominator 650cfm 4-barrel carb that i want to use, so do i simply build an air-box around it like my father says, to balance air pressures, and use a slightly higher pressure electric fuel pump? Do i need solid floats?

Ignition changes?

Hello,

Will running on biodiesel get you more MPG or is it just the benefit of Biodiesel being cheaper?

I saw a HUmmer H2 on eBay with a 6.6 duramax doing 28MPG I believe it was on biodiesel.

I want a 2008 Ford F250 and I want to see if I can get it on Biodiesel how many MPG will it get me?

im buying a truck and my garage is either 19 or 19.5 feet long. i want to get the xlt model with extended cab (back seat wehre it has suicide doors) and a 5.4 v8. my biggest concern is that the truck wont fit! i gotta make this work so if i have to settle for the 3 seater and no back seat i guess that would be fine. SOMEONE PLEASE GET ME MEASUREMENTS FOR 2000 F150S REGARDLESS OF WHAT TRIM THEY ARE JUST SO I CAN GET AN IDEA! if you have one just measure it so i know thank you so much!
