Anyone else have this problem? I wanted to find out first to see if the problem was something loose or if it was something worse that would cost a lot to fix. Any ideas on what could fix it or what it is? Have not been able to open the dash up and check. Just wanted to know if the car was worth putting money into.

I think it might be a bad constant velosity joint on the drive shaft. This would make a "clicking" "popping" sound you might describe as a rattle. If so, it costs several hundred dollars to replace and people will warn you that the wheel might literally fall off. I ignored the sound and drove for thousands of miles with no problems.
