my dad just bought a New 2007 Ford F 150 King Ranch
and I went out and got him an exhaust tip
and hes not home yet but I just wanna make sure I got the right size
so would a tip that fits up to 2 3/4 pipe fit?

If the pipe is under 23/4 it will/ Measure the diameter of the pipe on the truck. Do you have any idea what holds the tip in place ?

truly legal would be the stock pipes.... Most run well known brand Cat Back exhaust systems but it depends upon the state (and locality sometimes) and year usually.... I know most of the south, as long as you have a muffler after the cats that actually operates and muffler pipes you are pretty much legal... Most issues are emissions (but most Cat Back from major manufacturers are allowed) but most of all is noise and he might have been to loud for a white zone If I remeber (a quiet zone like a school or hospital)
