I purchased a 92 dodge 150series pick up with a 318 fuel injected engine 4wd 176000 miles on it. Not a bad truck it runs strong and is mechanically sound EXCEPT for the strange missing sensation when on the highway. The dude I bought it from said he thought it might be the map sensor. O.K. I put a map sensor on [ which I purchased from chrysler/dodge] and it didn't make one bit of difference. I ALSO GAVE IT A COMPLETE TUNE UP plugs, wires cap rotor, air filter, fuel filter oil change , Still there ,that strange bucking engine miss kinda drive you freakin nuts problem.I had no fault codes with a scanner. I CHANGED THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR to no avail.I changed the ignition coil nodda I changed the pick up in the distributer nodda I ran lucas injector cleaner through it nodda The dude I bought it from put a water pump on it about 5000 miles ago I sure hope there's no mechanical damage to the engine . It only does it at 55 mph and above .Especialy on long trip 65-70mph is worse. HELP?

I will be adding a second fuel tank to my 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck with a 325 hp Cummins 5.9L I6. What I know about the truck is that there is a 35 gallon tank and it has the fuel pump and sensor module all mounted on the top of the tank as a single unit. Costs around $340 from a dealer. But I really just need any old fuel pump, as long as it supplies enough (a) pressure and (b) volumetric flow rate to do the job similar to the stock fuel pump. I will install two manual 3-way valves (one for the inlet, 3/8 in, and one for the return, 5/16 or 1/4 I think) or it might be better to install a 6-port electric valve. Pollak makes the 42-300 electric kit for around $70. Tempo sells some brass 3-way valves. Anyway, the pump needs to be installed at or near my new aux tank, and I was going to hook into the two fuel lines very near the fuel injection pump. Any idea what pressure or delivery rate (in liters or gallons per hour) would be for this truck?

I bought a 2003 Dodge Neon SXT 2.0 ltr. engine with a little over 63,000 miles on it (no warranty). And when it comes time to turn on the headlights I notice dimming of the dash lights and headlights when useing the power windows and back defroster. The car's engine belt also makes noise when activating the rear defrost. Any other tips and help would be great as well.

Car starts fine in the morning, after about 2 to 3 minutes car runs very bad, check engine light comes on. It never stalls just sputters, spits like it running on 3 cylinders. After about 4 to 5 minutes of running bad the car starts running perfect. Check engine light stays on, sometimes it goes off during the day. Next morning same thing all over again. Took car to Autozone got a P1391 code (camshaft position sensor) replaced it twice still same problem. Anybody got any ideals? thanks inadvance.

I would ike to put at set of 17" wheels from an SRT-4 Neon on to my regular SXT Neon which now has 15" wheels. I know the bolt pattern is the same, but does anyone know how a 2 inch larger rim would affect things like speedometer accuracy, and would the fact that my SXT has rear drum brakes vs the larger rear discs on an SRT-4 be an issue? I want to be sure since I am considering bidding on a set on ebay and don't wnat to be stuck with something I can't use. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a '94 Dodge Pick Up, 4x4, 3" lift on 33's with a 5.2 Liter V8. I take very good care of it and it runs great. I am wanting to put a new exhaust system on it and I want to know which system would be the loudest with my engine and model. I am a huge fan of LOUD, I want to be able to be heard 10 miles away(not literally). From the cat-converter to the type of muffler and the pipes...what should I do to achieve the loudest sound from my engine? THANKS!

My g/f owns a 2001 plymouth neon. Within the last week she has been having some problems with her car. 1) she noticed that the neon starts to sputter/shake, when she comes to at total stop and then begins to accelerate. i have driven the car myself and will note that once the car is up to speed after the stop it runs fine. What would cause this sputtering/shaking as if it was going to run out of gas? 2) after all of this her check again came on. Any ideas why her check engine light would come on? i've been reading that it might have to do with some sort of a bad O2 sensor.

I have a 2002 dodge neon, roughly 50k miles on it. i have noticed ever since i bought the car, i have moisture issues. every time i go into my car in the morning, the windows are incredibly fogged up, where as the other cars in my drive way have nothing. also, the floor on the back passenger side frequently gets wet, and so does the seat, but i traced that to a bad seal on the rear window. could this seal be causing my cars issues? if so, what can i do to fix it?
