I have a '94 Dodge Pick Up, 4x4, 3" lift on 33's with a 5.2 Liter V8. I take very good care of it and it runs great. I am wanting to put a new exhaust system on it and I want to know which system would be the loudest with my engine and model. I am a huge fan of LOUD, I want to be able to be heard 10 miles away(not literally). From the cat-converter to the type of muffler and the pipes...what should I do to achieve the loudest sound from my engine? THANKS!

Change the exhaust manifolds to large tube headers with 3" piping on each side and abruptly end them behind the cab out the sides. IF you have the tips turned down the sound will resonate back from the ground making htem appear louder. for the BEST sounding exhuast get a Magnaflow

if you want the loudest, just go straight pipe all the way back, cut the cat out and just run pipe, no exhaust, but if you're gonna put a muffler on, put on the 10 Series from flowmaster, single chamber muffler.

go with large flow headers and go with flow master mufflers and put 3 to 3.5 inch dual exhaust out the back with 4 to 5 inch exhaust tips, sound really good, i had this on my 96 dodge pace truck with a 5.9 litre engine in it.
