Is their a way i can disarm the manufacturers alarm? I got a diagnostics reading that said " Fuel shut down"
The person seems to think that reason for my van problems is my alarm. He said that sometimes if i let my gas get too low that it will trigger the alarm and do a gas shut down because it thinks it has been stolen. Thats what he said. ive only let it get low low one time and that was last year in october2005
so can it be done?

It used to work fine till i let the truck sit for a couple moths.Now it seems like it's stuck.

Replaced battery and water Pump. Seems to start when the weather warms up. Dash lights and brake lights will come on but it just clicks.

I have a 95 Neon Sport with the DOHC engine. Whenever I am going under 30 mph my car makes this chirp noise and sounds like it's coming from the fron/underneath of the car. The brakes were replaced about a year ago however the noise does stop whenever I push down (even slightly) on the brake pedal. It may do it at higher speeds too but between the engine and the radio I may not be noticing it. It started as a now and then thing and has moved now to a 90% of the time thing. Any ideas??? THANKS!

when i start the car the abs, brakes ,and air bag lights come on, and then i hear a wierd noise come from dash board. when that happens the windows will not go down, and the ac/ heat defog, turn signels all stop working or will not come on at all. if i try one of them then i hear that noise again. since this started two days ago, while i'm driving around twice those lights would go off and everything would work again for a while and then would do it again. what could this be? is it a relay, or fuse, or a vehicle control module?

Everything went together perfectly fine, no problems, the tranny fluid is at the right level, i've tried adjusting the kick down cable, i've done everything, but the tranny slips horribly when you try to get the car moving. you have to rev the snot out of it before it starts to go anywhere, but once it is moving, it drives alright, and shifts fine. I've changed the filter and gasket, and cleaned out the pan. There wasn't much for shavings stuck to the magnet. I got the tranny out of a junkyard. You think it's just a badly worn tranny, or can you think of simething else that might be causing the problem?

When driving at speed of 35 MPH my van jumped and then the speedometer went to zero, 30 seconds later the gas guage went to zero and started dinging, the car jumped again 30 seconds after that and everything came back. The gas pedal was tight during the minute of craziness. Drove again today to test and had the same problem.

van runs good. 180k miles. starts good runs 8-10 min then just stops. wait a few minutes and it will restart. I removed remote starter(sftermkt) replaced fuel pmp, replaced coil, changed comp still does same thing. It dosent seem to matter what temp it is. I need help here!!! Scott

recently purchased a 2000 dodge duranago slt . we have been having problems with gear shift. you have to slam the gear shift into park or it will not start up after u shut it off. also at times when you put it in reverse it acts like you are in netrual. the dealer says this is normal but i think he is full of it. anyone else have this problem and how was it corrected thanks for the help

My Dodge Caravan makes an awful intermitent noise when I start to apply the foot on the pedal. It decreases as I apply more pressure on the brakes It's sounds something like: "clak clak clak clak" I've asked the Dodge dealer to check it and they say the brake pads are fine. Is it just a factory defect?
Just doesn't seem normal to me???
