Take it to your local auto parts store and see if they will check your alternator and put a charge on your battery and load test it. If there is an Autozone store in your neighborhood they will do this. Even though you installed a new battery, it could still be bad. Once you know the battery is good, the only thing left is the charging system. Just enough juice to operate dash lights and brakes lights will only make a starter click.

It sounds like you have a dead or weak battery. Check the battery and test the alternator. If both check out okay check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Make sure the pump is priming the fuel injectors. Make sure the ignition system is up to specs too. You may also want to get you starter checked it may be going bad. Hope this helps.

If your engine has allot of miles on it,it could be down on compression.Check your alternator by putting a volt meter across your battery terminals, with engine running it should put out at least 13 volts. Make sure your connections are clean & tight.Your cables may also need replacing.A engine heater will also make your pickup start allot easier & your heater will start putting out heat right away.
