When driving at speed of 35 MPH my van jumped and then the speedometer went to zero, 30 seconds later the gas guage went to zero and started dinging, the car jumped again 30 seconds after that and everything came back. The gas pedal was tight during the minute of craziness. Drove again today to test and had the same problem.

sounds like an electrical power outage to the ignition, and the dash guages, take it to a repair shop. might just be a bad connection, or something more severe, but you need to check it out before it causes an accident.

You need to get your wiring checked at a certified dodge shop. It won't cost too much but it will be worth it.

I THINK YOU BROKE A PISTON ROD. WHEN YOU LEFT THE TIRE STORE, DID YOU NOTICE THE ENGINE ..OIL LIGHT...COME ON. DID YOU HAVE THE OIL CHANGED, AT THE TIRE STORE. SOME WHERE BETWEEN THE TIRE STORE, AND WHEN YOU LOST POWER, YOUR OIL PRESSURE DROPPED. IF YOU HAD A OIL CHANGE, THEY NEVER PUT THE OIL, OR THE PROPER AMOUNT BACK IN. YOU BLEW YOUR ENGINE. YOU ARE IN FOR A BIG EXPENSE.
