I was at a light and went to hit the gas and my car would not accelerate. I pulled over and cut the car off. I tried to start it up again and then my check light engine came on and it went dead. After a few hours I went back to drive the car home and it did okay for a while and then started stalling. It seems like this problem came out of nowhere. What's wrong with my car?

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L engine. The check engine light comes on once the fuel gauge goes below 1/2 tank. I checked the codes and it showed vacuum leaks. I changed the gas cap. The light went off but then comes back on as described above. What else should I check? Thanks for the help

I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota RWD and it has the 3.9 litre V6. The V6 sounds great and gets pretty good gas mileage but I want to smoke the rear tires. Do you think the 5.7 litre Hemi would fit in the engine bay with some mild tweaking? I understand it would blow my driveshaft and transmission to bits but I would be willing to change them out, I just don't know if it would even fit.

It has the four cylinder turbo and seems to be getting gas and ignition (will run momentarily if gas poured down throttle body). It ran and then was stored outside for a year and a half - also the digital dash won't light since being stored outside. I checked all the fuses and some of the relays - it seems the injectors are not firing - do not know what to try next. Thanks for any and all help.

What cam should I get for straight off the line power. All I really want is to move my truck from 0 to 60 really quick. So if ya'll could let me know who makes the cam, and how big I should get it you could really make my day a great one. Thanks.

Hello, i have tried everywhere else, with no luck maybe someone here can help, the topic pretty much states it all, with a few things been replaced, timing belt replaced, water pump, power steering pump, alternator, and clutch all replaced, o2 sensor replaced and a few other odds and ends, heres where it gets tricky, i get about 200 miles to a tank of gas if im lucky, when im at the pump, im lucky to squeeze 19 dollars in when the fuel light comes on...gas here is 2.26 a gallon, so a little bit of math will tell you i have about a 10 gallon tank, however my moms neon ( 96 neon sport ( same submodel as mine forogt to mention that in above ) 2.0 DOHc auto) and she fills up with about 14 gallons of gas, and gets about 300+ miles to the tank, and i cant figure out why i am getting such crappy mileage, why im here can anyone tell me where the Oil Sending Unit is on my make/model of a car??...thanks for anything in advance

I have a 1990 Dodge B250 full-sized van that runs warmer than it should. I have determined that the stock clutch fan is junk as it doesn't seem to speed up when I rev the engine.

I have a non-running '92 Plymouth Acclaim that has a working e-fan in it. I would like to use this fan in my van if possible.

I'm gusssing that I will need an additional coolant temp sensor, but I'm not sure what else. Suggestions and installation advice would be apreiciated.

The noise is a low volume knock that seems to be comming from the upper half or back of engine. The noise deminisses on deacceleration. I can preform many test myself. A starting point would be nice. I'm leanning tword the EGR or an emmisions problem. Can the emmisions make such a noise?
