The clock spring in the steering column is bad. This is a common problem and is not that expensive to fix. The clock spring is the connector that allows the steering wheel to turn and still make contact. It will wear out and the horn and air bag in the steering wheel will become electrically disconnected.

I am not joking! It is called a clock spring. It is very common in Dodge and Jeep Vehicles. Its easy to replace if you have a steering wheel puller, but you usually have to go to the dealership and have them reset the ecu to erase the AirBag light.

feels like the mechanic screwed up your clock-spring on your steerage wheel.. Mechanic advised you to force on the interstate to instruct off an airbag mild? lol, thats classic and the oldest one in the e book. flow back and point out the clockspring in the steerage wheel. That spring controls the electrical powered circuit for the steerage wheel... IE cruise administration, horn, and airbag

It's funny how everybody knows it's the clock spring. You think they'd fix this issue by now.
