What you drive is up to you and if you are worried about your friends opinions about transportation, what are they like about clothing and hairstyles. Most of the people in this world don't have a chance to own anything to drive, yet we Americans are so into image of what we drive. I drove my Mercedes on a long trip and my back was killing me. I made the same trip a year later in a rented Dodge Grand Caravan and thought it was the most comfortable trip I have taken in a car. It simply does not matter what you drive, it matters how it works for you.

I used to have a '90 caravan.

I hated the thought of minivans, but then I had an opportunity to buy this one from a relative, and it was so damn comfortable. I changed my mind on the spot.

If your friends think you're weird, don't let them drive it!

I know, from the outside, it seems weird, but darn - it's a nice ride.

If your friends think you're weird, then find new friends. Or maybe teach them to appreciate people who don't conform. Driving a minivan makes more sense than a dumb SUV - it gets better gas mileage, it carries more cargo, and its a lot easier to drive.

Just paint it something really funky to add to the "personality!"
