By law the only fuel you can use in it is low-sulfur diesel. Not an issue because that's the only diesel I see at stations anymore. You could run it off bio-diesel though too. Save money, and have the wonderful smell of food all the time. I don't know if bio-diesel is legal, but I doubt you will get cited for it.

Required to use Ultra-low sulfur diesel. It should be pretty well available by now, as fuel stations are required to be completely shifted over to the ULS diesel by the early part of the year.
