If you need a ride to work, then yes you should.
If it's being repaired at a dealership, then they might have rentals. More than likely, you won't get it for free though.
If it's at a repair shop, then very few if any, offer loaners or rentals.

The warranty I had on my Durango paid for rentals for 10 days each time it went in for service.
