According to edmunds.com it's 3100lbs. but that seems to little. My mom's 2004 Acura MDX with a V6 can tow 4000. Anyways maybe they're right who knows.

That information is found on each truck's drivers door opening just below the striker for the door hinge. It was a federal law. I don't think it has moved much since the last Dodge I saw. Hope this helps, the fifth wheel is the best way to go. Get a separate heavy duty transmission cooler.

You don't want to tow 10,000 pounds with a 1/2 ton truck. You really need to step up to a 3/4 ton to tow that 5th wheel. There are many factors to towing, transmission cooling, engine cooling, suspension capability, etc. The engine can handle it, just not all the components on the truck.

I don't know it off the top of my head but it should be listed on the inside of the driver side door on a small plate that's riveted or otherwise attached. You might also look it up by going to the Dodge website.

You have to go with the gcvw (gross combined vehicle weight ) In pa You have to class increase your license plate for how much you want to tow you have a light weight of around 4500lb that was the last time I had mine weighed ext. 4x4 if you stick with gcvw of 9999 you do not have to get a class A CDL If you get caught over it the fine is usually $1.00 per pound
