If the part is under the manufactures warranty no there is not a deductible. The car manufactures covers the total bill for all warranty work.

The extended warranty is form an independent company not DaimlerChrysler so they usually do have a deductible much like your car insurance. In fact it real is more of an insurance policy than a warranty but if the called it that would you have bought it?

SOMETIMES there is a deductible --- get the ticket for estimation of repairs so you can talk to another Dodge dealership service writer if you have any more problems like this in the future....it's like light bulbs and brake parts and tires and oil and filters are Considered to be user-expendible parts and sometimes these are not covered by the warranty------ ask what the charges are going to be when you are ready to pick up your auto---don't be shy about asking because the warranty and the car are on you dollar...........

In most cases, if the repair is covered by the warranty agreement, you shouldn't have to pay any deductable.

You may have to pay disposal fees, or for parts not covered under the warranty though.

There shouldn't be, but you may find that some things are not covered by that warranty. What things they are is usually found in the fine print.
