I was driving my integra through the cities, and noticed the "check engine" light, started to blink. I got to my destination, and noticed poorer and poorer performance by my car. Its almost like the car lacks power. I was thinking a spark plug was out, therefore id be driving off three cylinders. Or maybe the fuel pump is not working correctly, and not sending enough fuel to power my engine. The car has a problem idoling and the engine shakes, I was left no choice but to drive the car home in this condition. I noticed, that after about 30MPH the car seemd to run fine, and the light continued to blink. Once i had to stop at a stop sign, the car started to Putz and almost die down. I then dropped it into neutral and kept the RPM's at a "sweet spot " for the car to run smoothly at a stoplight. Now i do not know what the problem is, Any help?!

I want to put an electric fan on my car. It's an 83 cutlass. I heard that it can add 15 to 20 horsepower when your done. So my question is it worth it and is it true?

In the cargo area, there is a slot molded into the plastic trim piece, but there isn't a corresponding slot on the other side. Does anyone know what this is? I went to the Chevy dealer and he said that they all had them, but no trim level had anything that went in there. I find it hard to believe, but if you ask someone that doesn't know, what else could you do?

I was helping a friend try to repair his 91 Chevy S10 Blazer because it was hesitating. The timing is alright, the distributor cap and rotor are new, but the vehicle still hesitates. Since i diagnose the simple problems first, i am suspecting the spark plugs. Even though they are a month old, i think new parts fail at times.

It vibrates really fast when running, or with the key just on. It stops when I turn the key off. (of course) When I fill the gage goes way past full. But it seems fairly accurate when getting close to empty, but I have to shut the truck off completely to read the gage. It seems electrical, but it really sucks having to pull out the dash to check connections. Does anyone have any input before I pull the dash? Is it possible the sending unit is bad? Please help!!

i cant get my car to run. it isnt firing. put new ignition module on it. put new coil packs on it. put new crank position sensor on it. new wiring for plugs and new plugs. i give up. i checked all the fuses. all are ok. what else could it be.

PLEASE HELP.

Why isn't the heater getting warm? The heater core is not by-passed and when I turn the temperature control from cold to hot it makes very little difference.

Whenever i accelerate to pass or go over a hill, my a/c cuts out. As long as i stay at a steady speed it works great. My cruise contol also works intermittently.

I have a '85 Mazda RX-7 with a Chevy Vortec 355cid,440HP,478 Ft.LBS of torque, '86 Trans-Am 5spd manual,4.07 Posi. and Chrome Side Pipes, Harwood 8 1/2" Aero scoop. It now has a Performer RPM Intake and a Holley 750 Double Pumper #4779. I want to run (2) 4's on a Tunnel Ram. I don't know who makes one for a carborated Vortec engine. All I can find is for EFI.

I just traded in my 02 Dodge Intrepid for one of these. I didnt think much of the car when I first looked at it but after test driving it and finding out it gets 30 MPG I was hooked and bought it right away. I know its one of those cars you either like or you dont but whats your opinion.

I own a 94 camaro z28. I start it up, it runs ok for 1 minute, then stumbles, backfires, then sometimes it dies, if it stays running, it runs bad until the service engine soon light comes on, then its ok again.
I replaced the Mass air flow, and the o2,s . what do you think it is?
