it sure doesnt make any horsepower :)

No no no, you will run down your battery and overcool your engine (not good). You can buy a switch so that you can turn on the fan whenever you like. Some drag racers use this (as well as me) when lining up at the drag strip waiting to race to prevent the engine from becoming warm, thus helping to prevent a LOSS of horsepower (from heating the air going into the intake). You can also program your computer to turn the fan on at a lower temperature.

No. Actually, it puts a little more load on the alternator, DECREASING H/P.

Every accessory that is turned on while driving loads the alternator more.

no but if the fan was to fun all the time. car maker would make it that way leave it alone. but its up to you.

no it just cools and runs the batery down i would not do it..
