I have a 2001 used malibu, recently I've been having this problem where this theft light is blinking preventing the car to start, its been this twice before, but after 8 hours its starts perfectly with no problems for months, this last time, still hasnt turned on....... I never put a theft sys in the car personal but it looks like one was installed before i got the care, if the dealership deactativated the sys could the computer once in awhile ready the sensor

Hi. I use my remote starter on my Malibu all the time - especially in
the winter.

Many times when I start my car, the seat warmers turn on as well and are
already hot when I get in. But, I don't know how I do this - it just
happens.

Does anyone know how to use the remote starter to turn on the seat
warmers?

Thanks!

some people have told me that you have to have the fender completly off, and others say all you have to have off is the hood hinges to get the fender emblems off. then others have said you can ease them off from the outside, but I know there delicate and break easy so, does anybody know how to get them off without breaking?

they stop monte carlo in nascar, and then who knows what will happen with the Monte. then the impala is a waste of time, the last go impala was the 96 ss. REAR WHEEL DRIVE. and the new camero is a cheap looking car that is goin to be over priced and underpowered. they keep ruining muscle car names. so in the fact i went to dodge, i would rather drive that/

I HAVE A FUEL INJECTED 1997 CHEVY CAMARO. 3.8 V6 MOTOR. I HAVE PUT 3 COIL PACKS, 3 NEW IGNITION MODULES, 2 NEW CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSORS, NEW PLUGS, NEW WIRES ON IT AND IT STILL DOES NOT RUN RIGHT. I HAD SOME GOOD ANSWERS WHEN I LAST ASKED A SIMILIAR QUESTION BUT THEY DIDNT WORK OUT. AFTER PUTTING THE COIL PACKS ON AND THE IGNITION MODULE ON AND THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR ON AND NEW PLUGS AND WIRES I WENT OUT TO TRY AND SEE IF IT WOULD START. IT WOULDNT. SO I GOT UPSET AND LEFT IT BE A COUPLE DAYS. WENT OUT YESTERDAY AND GOT IN IT AND THE FIRST CRANK IT FIRED RIGHT UP AND RAN LIKE A NEW ONE. I DROVE IT AROUND TOWN A FEW MINUTES AND CAME BACK HOME. WHEN I GOT HOME I SHUT IT OFF AND JUST FOR KICKS I TRIED TO START IT AGAIN. IT WOULD NOT START. IT JUST SAT THERE TURNING OVER BUT NO FIRE. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS. IT CANT BE MUCH I WOULDNT THINK. I JUST DONT KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN TO LOOK. IF ANYONE CAN HELP I SURE WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE HELP.

okay when i got this truck a week ago it was running kind of weird it wouldnt idle right and would not have the power you should get out of a 350 5.7liter

so i put new spark plugs in new wires new distributor button and a new distributor cap

i just took one wire off the old on as i was putting it on the same way on the new one so i didnt check the firing order!

now its still wasn't running right so i took every wire off and got the correct firing order and put them on just like that.

now when i try to start the engine it turns over but makes popping sounds out of the exhaust and does not start i double checked eveything three times i wont start, so i got back on the internet and looked at timing missalignment or something

help would be appreciated how to make it start with the correct firing order
thanks

Friend of mine threw a connecting rod through his oil pan. the engine was somewhat hopped up, im not sure about the crank..he spun it up to 6,000 RPM (if not more), in my opinion thats a bit high.. also, my stock 350 in my 77, shifts around 4200 RPM?..is that the redline or what would you guys consider the redline in a small block chevy
