More than the job is worth I am afraid. It can be done, contrary to what others may say, even though it is front wheel drive. I know of several people who have installed V8 engines in their front wheel GM cars.

If you want more punch, but like your car - look for a Supercharged version of the Oldsmobile 98 - they are pretty inexpensive on the used market - also look at the Bonneville SSEi and Park Avenue Ultra - they are sister cars to the 98

If I were you I wouldn't recommend doing that, the 3800 motors are one of the most reliable motors ever made and they're good on power/torque.
