I know a lot of the parts for this car have been discontinued. I am in New England and could not find an oil pan for this car to save my life (I had to have it welded), now I need springs I love the car and don't want to junk it.

i have that car with an '87 350 that i believe used to be TBI, but is now 4 bbl carb w/out any computer. it ran fine until one day it started running really rough after i ran it hard and then it quit running all together. I rebuilt the carb, it's getting fuel, the timing is right, i checked the dist. and the chain is good, i was wondering if i'm not getting power to the spark plugs? i replaced the coil and it works, but could it be that i'm not getting power to the coil? What else could be the problem?

I might buy a 1970 350 engine from a Corvette that got wrecked, would that be a wise decision and put it in the Caprice, I like bigger cars. Basically here is what I want the Caprice is in decent shape a little rust bought from an old man I have known for years, he is the only owner no accidents, a couple of dings and dents. I travel a lot do not need to drag race want good acceleration in the 50-70 mph area also would like advice on better handling is there anyway I can get such a big car to handle better. Only paid $300 for it have a couple grand set aside for possible modifications or buying another car, would the 350 engine work in a car like that or is it pie in the sky. Thank You.

The front power windows on my 1996 Lumina move up slowly and sometimes stop half way up. When I leave them alone for awhile, they usually go up normally. Switch or motor?

I don't want to use a ECU on this engine, fuel injection or the timing ...hopefully just add a aftermarket intake and regular distributor. What componants can I use and what engine do they come off of.
