No. The output shaft diameter is larger on the TH400 than the TH350. It doesn't matter whether or not the spline count is the same. The diameter is considerably larger for the TH400. If your driveshaft is bent and you have a driveshaft from a truck with a TH350, you will have to have the TH400 yoke put on the TH350 driveshaft. Also the u-joint size may be different. If they are you will have to have a special u-joint to go from one to the other. That is assuming that both are RWD trucks and of the same wheelbase. Both trucks should have the 9'' tailshaft housing. If all of this is correct, then you are in business!

No the output shaft on the 400 has a different number of splines and is a different diameter.

i own a repair shop,and i think they do swap out,all you have to do is measure and see if its long enough,sometimes the tail shaft is shorter on the 400,s but if there the same it should work,i have changed a lot of them out before,but is been a while,since i have seen a good 400 trans,,but try this ,and i think it should work,,good luck,and have a good thanks giving.

No,the slip yoke to the transmission are different sizes.
