I have a '97 S10 V6 with the 4L60E electronically-controlled tranny. Is there a floor shift conversion for this? I don't like column shifters.

I am trying to find out what year a truck is. I know its either a 2005 or 2006. I looked in the door jam and it doesn't say the year. Is there anywhere else to look for this information?

My clutch just went out and I was told it would cost more to replace it because the '03 Cavaliers have a flex fuel engine. Can anyone confirm? If so, I'm going to start buying ethanol. Thats way cheaper than gas! If not, Brakes Plus is trying to screw me.

I want at least 425 hp in my 350 4 bolt but hopeing for 450 hp in it. How can I get that much easy without blowers, superchargers, and without having it bored? Wanting pure muscle. What kind of intake & size cam should I go with? I'm building a 1982 Chevy C10 short wheel base steet truck with a 400 turbo transmission. Need to know what size wheels & tires to use. How much do you think I probably need to spend?

Today I was driving my trusty old 1992 Lumina 3.1 coupe. Their was nobody on the high way but me for what seamed like miles so I thought why not lets se how fast I can get this thing up to so with my GPS mounted to my windshield (this is my speedometer because the speedometer in the car only goes up to 85) I opened up the throttle from a 60 mph role and away I went I was able to max out at 120 MPH in only like 10 sec. My car is only a 3 speed!. Best of all it handled VERY well at that speed no swaying or floating the car just stuck to the road like glue it felt like I was doing 60 mph thats how good the ride was at that speed. Any way my question is why did chevy put a speed oniter with a tope speed of only 85 and not 110 or 120?. I don't speed all the time I just wanted to see if the car could only do 85 mph.

My problem is this... the car starts good and idoles smooth even in below 0 temps, but once the engine reaches full opp temp and I put a load on it /ie starting out from a stop, accelerating up hill ect. the car cuts in and out random misfire all 8 cylinders cut in and out.this only seems to happen once the computer takes over engine operation. when the car is cold it doesnt miss a beat!. so far to fix the problem I have replaced the T.P.S. sensor, the fuel filter, the coil, the ignition module, the entire distributer, all spark plugs and wires. the O-2 sensor.the main PCM computer, the ignition switch and all wiring harnesses from the steering collem to the ignition system.the compression is good and the timing chain is tight but the problem persists! I am at my wits end and I need some new ideas on how to fix the problem. the fuel pump pressure checked out to

It spews water, radiator fluid, and oil steam out oil valve cover or the place where you put the oil.We think its a blown gasket or cracked seal. My husband did do a comprension test and each plug had a different measurement. Some 80% while one had 30%. Muellers Auto in Pueblo Colorado offered to look at it for $35.00. What do I do?

I'm in the market for a new vehicle, and I'm thinking of looking at Chevy Trailblazers. I was hoping some other owners/drivers could provide me with some feedback.

Performance? Value? Gas Mileage? Comfort? Repair Needs? Any years better than others?

I will be purchasing a used model. Thanks in advance for all your help!!!
