I own a shop, and have worked on these vehicles for many years. A "70" did not have a PVC valve, as this was a pre-emissions controlled engine. The crankcase is vented by a tube that ran down the back of the engine, and was cut at an angle to capture wind blowing under the vehicle. When the wind went across the opening of this tube it created a vacuum, thus sucking the build up out of the engine. On the other end of the system was an oil cap/filter that had a mesh inside to filter the air that was pulled through the engine by the vacuum. If one wishes to change this system, you would have to plug the tube, install a valve cover that uses a PVC, has an oil fill cap, and run a hose from the valve to the intake, or carburetor base plate that supplies full intake vacuum. The PVC system works best, as the old method only vented the crankcase when it was moving down the road. You could either pick up a set of chrome valve covers that has this system, or you can find plenty of these in a junk yard.
This is all assuming you have the engine that came in the vehicle from the factory. If not, then you should find it plugged into the valve cover on the drivers side of the engine. It will have a hose that is 3/8" inside diameter, and will either run to the carburetor/intake, or to a charcoal canister located near the headlight on the drivers side. Another hose will come from the canister to the intake or base of the carburetor.

I have a 71 C-10 with a 350 it should be on the passenger side valve cover, it has a hose connecter to it that goes to a spacer that sits on top of the carb, although it might not have one on a 70 model, but if it does thats where it will be.

1970 307 did not have a pcv valve. The crank case pressure is relieved through the oil fill cap.

usually located on valve cover you will see from back of manifold a hose thats runs from their to the pcv it removes easily shake it and it rattles most of the time it is good but its better to replace them as part of tuneup

Check your bulbs first, if the lights on the dash come on and don't flash, that is a signal that a bulb is burnt, but the emergency flasher will still work. If the outside bulbs front and back are working, then check the flashers.
