Do I need with or without push rod guides on intake manifold gaskets? How do I find out? Autozone man didn't know which either, both show up for it. Please help. 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo( 3.1) 6 cylinder.

look on top of your engine if it says 3.1l MFI you need without guides, if it says 3.1l SFI you need with

AS far as I know there are NO push Rod seals or you may be refering to valve stem seals and those require special tools and experience to change you would NOT normally change them during intake manifold gaskets replacement.

Call a Chevy dealership and talk with the service dept. they can tell you and they will know what you are talking about! Autozone don't know anything about anything including the right parts!

I would say with push rod guides. but call chevy parts dept to be sure.
