I have a '97 S10 V6 with the 4L60E electronically-controlled tranny. Is there a floor shift conversion for this? I don't like column shifters.

buy a hurst shifter B&M is crap!
buy a floor shifter for a TH700-R4. the 4L-60E is just an updated version of a 700r4. you can pick various styles, just make sure the shifter you buy says its for a TH700-R4/4L-60E. itl come with all the needed hardware (nuts, bolts, shifter cable, and even cool stickers!)

ENJOY!

Column shifters rule!

However, if you're so inclined, there are any number of aftermarket automatic shifters, including plenty with manual ratcheting action. B&M probably makes the best ones.

If you're a junkyard scavenger like me, consoles and floor shifters out of third generation (1982-1992) Camaros and Firebirds also swap right into S-10s, but I've only ever seen them in 1982-1993 trucks. The 1994 onward trucks like yours have a different interior, so the swap might not be so clean.

you can use a stock camaro shifter since it uses the same transmition get one at any junkyard but make sure you get any brackets or any extra parts you need. everything might not bolt on to your chasis but you can make it work
If you don't care about a stock look; I recomend a B&M Pro Rachet since it's a four speed it will work and with less modifications

I put a B&M Quicksilver shifter in my 72 Nova, and I like it.
