One reason is that all vehicles are designed NOT to loose traction.. If yours dose not spin, this means that your truck is better than all the rest! but to make it happen.. just pour a little anti-freeze (animal Safe) on your tires.. an wha laa..
Please note: this is a stupid event to try to make happen. for safty reasons

don't do that.
the first traffic ticket i received was for "Improper start from a standing position" there happened to be a cop that was nearby and i was on some gravel, wheels squealed a little.
if you must know then put it into 2wheel drive mode, push the brakes down all the way, start giving it gas and the rear wheels should break loose. As for revving it in neutral and throwing it into gear... well that's the best/fastest way to kill your transmission. The Silverado should be able to do the 'burnout' without a problem, they have plenty of low-end torque to get the wheels loose. Try doing it on wet pavement and not around any traffic or cops.

do no longer do this. the 1st site visitors cost tag i gained became for "incorrect initiate from a standing place" there got here approximately to be a cop that became interior sight and that i became on some gravel, wheels squealed a splash. in case you need to comprehend then placed it into 2wheel tension mode, push the brakes down each of how, initiate giving it gas and the rear wheels ought to wreck loose. As for revving it in independent and throwing it into equipment... properly that's the suitable/quickest thank you to kill your transmission. The Silverado must be waiting to do the 'burnout' without difficulty, they have various low-end torque to get the wheels loose. attempt doing it on moist pavement and not around any site visitors or law enforcement officers.

You might have something wrong with your trany, those do great burn outs. The newer GM tranys have had some problems. Some just do to lack of maintence, the trany fluid is kind of hard to change in some of the GM's because you actually have to take out the cross member, I don't know if yours is like this. I think it might be the 2wd's, but I'm not for sure. I'm pretty sure you need to remove some of the linkage b.s. so ya. Look for a trany problem, cus the Engine is solid. Which sounds wierd........

Because its a gutless pig and needs to go to the junk yard and burn outs are illegal in most states so don't do it. Drive safe it may help people from getting hurt.

if your wheels still wont turn after all the other advice try slowly letting up on the brakes and eventually they will turn. you dont need the brakes all the way floored just enough rto keep the truck from moving.
